Description of the Shimano Deore Disc Brake System
Components:
Lever: BL-MT501

Design and Performance: The two-finger lever offers predictable control and balances power and stiffness through SERVOWAVE technology with high braking power.

Compatibility: Compatible with I-Spec II.

Works with: Calipers BR-MT500 and BR-MT520.

Brake Caliper: BR-MT500

Performance: Provides powerful braking and smooth operation matching the performance of the BL-MT501 brake lever. Features two cylinders that are thermally insulated to effectively manage brake pad wear.

Versatility: Suitable for various riding styles, including Cross Country and Trekking.

I-Spec II System

Integration: Integrated mounting system for brake and shift levers requiring only one mounting bolt. This design saves space, creates a cleaner look, and reduces weight by approximately 10 grams.

Adjustability: Offers horizontal adjustment for a personalized fit.

Compatibility: Can only be mounted on brake levers compatible with I-Spec II; not compatible with I-Spec A/B.
