- Installation and removal of the chain
Installing the Shimano CN-LG500 is made easier with the included Quick-Link connector. Place the chain on the gears, connect the two ends with the Quick-Link, and tighten by applying load (for example, by pressing the pedals). Make sure the chain length is properly adjusted to your drivetrain.
- How to care for the product
Regularly clean the chain from dirt and use appropriate bicycle chain lubricant. When riding in mud or rain, maintenance should be more frequent. Monitor wear with a chain checker and replace in time to extend the life of the cassette and crankset.
