Shimano Deore BL-M6100 Brake Lever
The hydraulic brake lever Deore BL-M6100 features Shimano's SERVOWAVE technology, which enhances the lever's modulation capability. Since the brake lever absorbs much of the braking distance early in its movement, the brake pads make quicker contact with the rotor, leaving more lever travel for adjusting braking force. This is why SERVO WAVE brake systems are characterized by faster response, higher performance, and shorter free stroke.
The 2-finger brake lever design is inspired by the XTR, Deore XT, and SLX series, so the clamp is not mounted parallel but at an angle to the handlebar, creating a second contact point that provides significantly increased stiffness. For individual adaptability, the lever is equipped with an integrated, tool-based reach adjustment option. Thanks to the I-Spec EV design, Deore SL-M6100-I shifters can be mounted directly to the brake lever.
