Shimano SW‑R671-R is an electronic shifter (bar‑end shifter), designed for triathlon and time-trial bicycles with Di2 electronic systems. The model features a two-button design, providing control over the rear derailleur as well as the front derailleur (if a left shifter from the same series is present). It is compatible with the electronic systems Dura‑Ace Di2 (9070) and Ultegra Di2 (6770/6870), using wired communication through E‑Tube.
Thanks to its compact shape and low weight, the SW‑R671‑R allows the cyclist to shift while in the aero position without changing grip, which is critical for triathlon and time-trial disciplines. Each shifter comes with a built-in EW‑SD50 cable about 600 mm long, suitable for most aero setups.

Installation:
Install at the end of the aero extensions. Make sure the inner diameter of the extensions allows proper fixation. Connect the factory-installed EW‑SD50 cable to the E‑Tube junction (EW‑JC130/EW‑90).
Use and maintenance:
Keep the firmware of all Di2 components up to date using E‑Tube Project to ensure compatibility and reliability. Regularly check cable connections and avoid twisting or bending the cables.
