Shimano Ultegra CS-R8101 brings the racing technology Hyperglide Plus to the Ultegra series. The tooth profiles are optimized for quiet operation and instant response when shifting both up and down, even under high load. The cassette combines steel sprockets with nickel plating for long life and an aluminum spider for low weight and high stiffness. Thanks to its design, it fits both the new 12-speed HG-L2 bodies and standard 11-speed HG bodies using the included spacer ring.

It is suitable for cyclists who want a wide gear range without sacrificing smooth shifting, as well as for those upgrading from 11 to 12 speeds without replacing the hubs.
