The new Schwalbe tire classification: The Super series for 2021

I immediately admit without a fight that the title is a bit misleading because most of the technologies discussed in the following lines are already well known to fans of the German brand Schwalbe. What happens in 2021 is that the manufacturer has grouped its products according to construction into five different types, united in their name by the word Super. In other words, for users, they should become easier to distinguish, but in practice, in most respects, they are simply further developments (i.e., evolved versions) of the previous constructions.

The names are respectively Super Downhill, Super Gravity, Super Trail, Super Ground, and Super Race. In this table, you can see how Schwalbe's previous technologies correspond to the new names:
